I had read and heard from others years ago that alcohol can damage your energy system, such as tearing holes in your aura, or the atomic web. The latter being that barrier described by A.E. Powell in The Etheric Double, which keeps us from being bombarded by all the unseen energies on the astral plane. I got from how I felt physically that if I drank too much there were ramifications there, and knew from other clairvoyants (as I hadn’t yet developed my sight) that this was indeed true. I’d like to describe how I’ve lately experienced this and some thoughts on same.
Having holes or tears in your energy system doesn’t have to manifest overtly with you seeing some really scary entity, possession, etc. More commonly, I think it makes you more open to feeling other people’s emotions and taking them on as your own, thinking that they’re yours. Now that my sight has opened up more, I’ve also experienced that the lower-vibration of alcohol does attract what I’ve heard described of as the “alcohol beings.” Many developing their intuition eventually drop all use of alcohol for this and other reasons. I’m still wanting “balance” in my life and that includes having an occasional glass of wine, which I really enjoy. This I seem to do well with, but at a holiday party I attended last year, I imbibed more than usual. Albeit fun at the time, the next day I activated my 3rd eye and saw what I’d describe as not very positive looking beings around me – seriously, they looked like your classic “monsters.” I felt no fear, but this is not the energy I want around me, or in my space (aura). Also, my energy was less stable feeling and looked jittery. This lasted for a couple of days afterwards. Were there other effects I’m unaware of from the alcohol beings, such as how I interacted with people, or how I felt? I’m not sure. That’s me. Everyone’s limits are different and I’ve seen that those limits change over time in one direction or another and often depend upon where the rest of your health is at. I have to say, I was actually surprised to see the alcohol beings, as I don’t think I totally believed this previously.
Besides alcohol, the following are also severely damaging to the energy structures either through an immediate tear, or via ossification: drugs, even long-term abuse of caffeine and tobacco; strong emotions such as anger; shocks such as a car accident, and even psychic/spiritual development that’s undergone at too fast a pace.
